Orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail or UPS. USPS Priority Mail usually takes 2-4 days to arrive. Express Mail shipping is also available and generally takes one day to arrive after the order has shipped. To upgrade your shipping from Priority Mail to Express Mail, or add signature confirmation and insurance, please contact us directly at customerservice@captainshelm.com Captain's Helm reserves the right to cancel any order due to issues involving merchandise availability. Shipping time may vary due to availability of merchandise, in which case, the customer will be contacted directly.

Captain's Helm ships worldwide. All items are shipped USPS, and rates depend on the weight and size of the item.

 

 

RETURNS:

 

All vintage and sale items are final sales.

 

In the event that your vintage purchase is grossly misrepresented in the description, we will accept a return with the original tags still attached for store credit. Please inspect your vintage items carefully before removing the tags, as we cannot accept returns once the tags have been removed.

 

Because vintage is pre-loved, loose threads, light fading and other signs of age that do not affect wearability are not considered flaws. Each vintage piece is personally inspected before it is shipped, we try and describe any and all damage in the item description. Normal vintage wear may include loose or missing sequins and beads on sequin garments that do not distract from the design, stitching that needs to be secured, loose buttons, slight loss of fabric color from washing, slight pilling on knits, and mild leather scuffing.

 

We do not accept returns for vintage items with normal wear.
